Unknowingly, they trap a vulnerable young woman, Raisa, in a terrifying journey to save her mother’s life.  From Ukraine to the Cornish Coast, small and defenceless, with her life in constant jeopardy, she attracts a collection of new friends (including Kit from the first book in the series). Raisa will never give up, but branded a terrorist and with untold lives at stake, how can she possibly survive?

Unsurvivable Secret?

When Raisa doesn’t arrive home, the characters you met in the previous books embark on a quest to find her. Their search straddles the length of Europe, as they become entangled in yet another international conspiracy. Everyone, from her seven-year-old sister to MI5, becomes involved – including Joe, the irrepressible Kit, and Raisa’s Aunt Irena. It is the book that brings together the threads from the past that unknowingly link so many of the characters. But it is the past that holds a horrific secret – threatening them all.

Unsurvivable ?

Who would have thought that a sleepy rural village could be so dangerous?

Kit Blackliss hates injustice and bullies. When a dodgy local councillor threatens a local Drop-In Centre with closure, she and her friends won’t stand idly by. However, criminals supported by the local councillor are a violent threat. Not to mention the mysterious foreign agent constantly searching for something, with MI5 on their trail. Then, there are the secrets concealed by the Drop-In Centre volunteers. For Kit and her friends, this has all the ingredients of an Unsurvivable Cocktail.

Unsurvivable ?

The books take you into the lives of people caught up in events outside their control and thrown into a world of crime and espionage, where survival seems impossible. From Ukraine to Cornish villages, across seas and mainland Europe, into capital cities and small towns, against a backdrop of security service activities and decisions made by Heads of State, when the chips are down, these ordinary, caring people make all the difference.

An abridged version of the stand-alone book Tide Race - now forming part of a series.
